
Previously he has been full-time researcher at the University of Florence where he taught Islamic Studies and Arabic Language and Literature. “AG heads as Principal Investigator the five year project IslHornAfr: Islam in the Horn of Africa, A Comparative Literary Approach (http://www.islhornafr.eu) funded by the European Research Council (Advanced Grant 322849)”.
